Edward S. Koizumi was born in
Yamanashi-ken, Japan and emigrated to the U.S. at a young age.
Being the product of both cultures, his philosophy towards his
work reflects the ideals of craftsmanship and innovation. He has a B.S. in Industrial Design from the Institute of Design at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
After graduating from IIT, Ed owned a textiles shop where he taught sewing and
quiltmaking and created custom displays.
A draftsman and designer, he is currently making models, props and special effects rigging for
photography and film. Ed also writes about his craft for
publication. In addition to working in wood, metal, plastics, fabric and
glass, he enjoys experimenting with various media. Ed is quite
taken with digital photography at the moment.

And to many clients past and present who have become my friends.
Thank you all for your continued support." |
