Concept:

Create a human heart out of acrylic.

The overall shape was bandsawn and then the rotary grinder was used to remove the excess. The challenge was to not mar the plastic during the rough out as all imperfections would be visible. After final shaping the whole piece was sandblasted for a frosted appearance.
